By the time the 1990s rolled around, most of Generation X lived by themselves, held down jobs, and made money the old fashioned way. But a whole new group of youngsters, (the millennials), were coming into their own and looking towards young adults for guidance. That's where Gen X came in.
Without Gen X there is no Nintendo, no Tamagotchi, and no Blockbuster. Really, most of us '90s kids have Gen X to thank for getting the party started.
